What is GBIS?
GBIS is a funding scheme created to enable residents to get either free or cheaper insulation to help reduce energy bills.
You can be a homeowner, landlord or a tennant to apply, although you would need the landlords permission.
The scheme is designed to fund the installation of single measures, in particular cavity wall insulation, solid wall insulation, loft insulation, flat roof or pitched roof insulation, under floor or solid floor insulation, park home insulation & room in roof insulation.
Am I Eligible?
You could find that your home is eligable for the GBIS funding programme.
The scheme is open to low income & vulnerable households, as well as properties with an energy performance certificate (EPC) raiting of D-G and within council tax bands A-D in England, and A-E in Scotland & Wales.
